Attacks by armed Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank continued on Sunday, as the Israeli war against Iran and Lebanon entered its second month.

Israeli forces and paramilitary colonizers have escalated their brutality against Palestinians in the West Bank since the war against Iran began, using the war as a pretext to further dispossess the indigenous Palestinian people of their land and property.

The following attacks were documented on Sunday by local sources:

On Sunday evening, Israeli occupation forces’ bullets injured a child, during the Israeli military’s storming of the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The Red Crescent Society reported that its crews dealt with a live bullet injury to the thigh of a child (17 years old) during the storming of the camp, and he was transferred to the hospital.

Earlier this evening, the Israeli occupation forces assaulted a 39 year old man with beatings and pepper gas during their storming of the camp, after which he was transferred to the hospital. They also fired poison gas bombs, closed the entrance to the camp, and completely obstructed the movement of vehicles, causing a stifling traffic crisis.

Qalandia camp has witnessed repeated incursions by the Israeli occupation forces, including attacks on citizens and strict measures against them, which exacerbates their daily suffering.

Sunday evening, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Turmus Ayya and the village of Al-Mughair, northeast of the city of Ramallah.

A Wafa news correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed Turmus Ayya with several military vehicles, which led to the outbreak of confrontations with young men, during which soldiers fired sound bombs and tear gas at citizens and shops.

The reporter added that another force from the occupation army stormed the neighboring village of Al-Mughair, and its vehicles drove through its streets and alleys, amid the outbreak of confrontations and the targeting of citizens’ homes with gas bombs, without any injuries being reported in the two towns.

Also Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces uprooted 200 trees in the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the occupation forces uprooted about 200 trees during bulldozing operations on lands adjacent to the main street in the town, owned by the sons of the late Salem Qasim Al-Khatib, the sons of the late Hajij Qasim, and the sons of the late Ali Qasim, in addition to Khairy Askar and Mustafa Kanaan.

The occupation municipality in Jerusalem forced Palestinian citizen Ali Younis Abu Rumaila, from the Al-Thawri neighborhood – Krum Qamar in the town of Silwan, South of Al-Aqsa Mosque, to pay for the demolition of his 60 square meter house, which houses four people.

Local sources reported that the house was built four years ago, and that this is the second time that citizen Abu Rumaila has been forced to demolish his house in the past six years, in continuation of the Israeli occupation’s policies aimed at displacing residents from the town.

The occupation authorities continuously force citizens in the occupied city of Jerusalem to self-demolish their homes under the pretext of not having a license, and whoever refuses, the Israeli occupation demolishes the house and imposes heavy costs on the owner.

On Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the center of Tulkarm, on the 434th day of the ongoing aggression on the city and its two camps.

A Wafa news correspondent reported that the occupation forces sent large military reinforcements and deployed their vehicles and infantry divisions in the city center, most notably Gamal Abdel Nasser Roundabout, Martyr Thabet Thabet Square, the beginning of Blacksmiths Street, Paris Street, and Hospital Street.

The source added that the area witnessed a state of alert, as occupation soldiers pursued citizens and vehicles, coinciding with the firing of live bullets and sound bombs, and also raided a number of shops and forced their owners to close them.

In this context, the Israeli occupation forces seized toys from inside children’s toy stores, and abducted the young man, Thaer Younis, after tying him up and blindfolding him.
