Israeli troops invaded a number of locations throughout the West Bank on Saturday, including Qalqilia, Nablus, Tulkarem, Al-Jalazoun and Salfit.
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) abducted, at dawn on Saturday, three young men from Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
Local sources reported that occupation forces stormed Jalazoun refugee camp and abducted three former prisoners: Thaer Smada’a, Mohammed Baha Ayyash, and Riyad Salah Alian, after raiding their homes, tampering with their contents, and deliberately vandalizing them.
Eyewitnesses reported that large forces of the occupation army raided a number of homes and carried out extensive searches, during which furniture and property were vandalized and destroyed.
Israeli forces abducted, at dawn on Saturday, two citizens from Deir al-Ghusun town, north of Tulkarem.
Local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces abducted the former prisoner, Abdul Rahman Fahmi Zidane (65 years old) and Salam Amin Abu Saa, after raiding their homes in the town.
Israeli forces abducted today, Saturday, four citizens from the Nablus Governorate in the northern West Bank.
Local sources reported that occupation forces stormed the Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus, and abducted two young men, Hamza Abu Tayoun and Muhammad al-Zumar. They also abducted two young men, Ayoub Hatem Sabah and Muhammad Mansour Sabah, from the village of Urif, to the south, after raiding their homes.
Also on Saturday, Israeli forces abducted four citizens from Qalqilia city, in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
Local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces stormed the city, invaded the homes of released prisoners, and abducted Muhammad Abu Samra, Akif Nazzal, Aboud Sa’sa’, and Ahmad Awainat, after searching their homes and vandalizing their contents.
The occupation forces stormed the city from its southern entrance and deployed in a number of neighborhoods, including the vicinity of Al-Murabitun Mosque, Al-Dawawin Street, Al-Muhafaza Street, Jaljulia Street, and Diwan Jaidi. The raid lasted for approximately three continuous hours before they withdrew from the city.
In the same context, the occupation forces continue to tighten their military measures around Qalqilia Governorate.
Israeli occupation forces continue to close the eastern entrance to Qalqilia, along with the entrances to the villages east of the city, namely Nabi Elias, Imatin, and Al-Funduq-Hajjah, with iron gates. They prevent citizens from traveling and fire live ammunition at any citizen who attempts to approach the checkpoints or walk near them.
A 16-year-old child was injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets in Tulkarem refugee camp, in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
The Red Crescent Society said in a brief statement on Saturday that its crews received a child injured by live ammunition in the leg and that he was taken to the hospital.
Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Issawiya town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and Abu Dis town, east of the city.
Local sources reported that occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at citizens and their homes during their raid on the town of Issawiya, causing a number of residents to suffer from suffocation from inhaling the gas, including a man, his wife, and his children.
The sources added that the occupation forces also stormed the town of Abu Dis.
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday installed an iron gate at the entrance to Douma village, south of Nablus.
Head of the Douma village council, Suleiman Dawabsheh told WAFA that the occupation forces closed the only entrance to the village with an iron gate.
He pointed out that Douma is one of the only villages that does not have any direct roads connecting it to neighboring villages, due to its geographical location, which makes this entrance the only lifeline for the village’s citizens.
