Israeli occupation forces carried out extensive invasions across the occupied West Bank on Sunday, breaking into homes, abducting dozens of Palestinians, and tightening military restrictions on movement in multiple districts.
In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, soldiers invaded the town of Tammun and abducted Bilal Jom’a Ahmad Bani Odah, 37, and his sister Arham Jom’a Ahmad Bani Odah, 48, after breaking into and searching their home. The army also invaded the nearby town of Aqaba and searched several homes at dawn.
In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces conducted one of the largest abduction campaigns of the day, taking 14 Palestinians, including a woman and several former prisoners.
Troops broke into homes in the village of Kafa south of Tulkarem, abducting Batoul Jamal. They also seized former prisoners Abdul‑Fattah Azzam al‑Qaddoumi, 57, and Ammar Manna’, 63, from the city.
Additional abductions were reported in the neighborhoods of Ektaba and Ertah, where soldiers broke into homes and seized Alaa Shahin, Faisal Mahmoud Khalifa, 44, Husam Aref, 49, Ali Abu ar-Rob, Adel Qassem, and Mohammad Qassem.
In Bal’a, east of Tulkarem, troops abducted Sa’id Shahrouf, Mahdi Adnan al‑Hajj, Ibrahim Adnan al‑Hajj, Mohammad Abu Sitteh, and his brother Baha Abu Sitta. Forces also invaded the towns of Qaffin and Zeita, conducting extensive searches and interrogating residents.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, soldiers invaded the Rafidia area, broke into a residential building, searched it, and seized computer equipment from one of the offices inside.
Military vehicles also entered the northern mountain area and patrolled several streets. Later in the day, protests erupted at the Deir Sharaf military roadblock west of Nablus, where soldiers fired tear gas and stun grenades at residents.
The soldiers also assaulted a young man in the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus, forcing him to the ground while shouting at him.
The army continues to impose heightened restrictions on movement following Friday’s massacre in the village of Tell, where Israeli forces and illegal paramilitary colonizers killed four members of one family. Since then, military roadblocks and colonizer attacks have intensified across the northern districts.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city and abducted two Palestinians: Ibrahim al‑Jabr from the al‑Hadaf neighborhood and Omar Abu Aqel, the brother of slain Palestinian Ra’fat Abu Aqel, from the Kharrouba neighborhood, after breaking into and searching their homes.
In Salfit, in the central West Bank, soldiers invaded the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan and abducted Sadeq Fawzat Rayyan, only days after his release, following a violent search of his home. Troops also broke into homes in the town of al‑Zawiya, destroying property and seizing money and gold from one residence.
Also in Salfit, paramilitary Israeli colonizers and soldiers stopped a car of a Palestinian family and thoroughly search it, near the town of Az-Zawiya, west of the city.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, Israeli soldiers invaded multiple communities across the governorate, broke into and ransacked homes, and interrogated residents.
In the town of Sinjil, east of Ramallah, the soldiers closed agricultural roads leading to Palestinian lands after piling a sandhill to seal it off.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces abducted Imran Warad Halabiya from his home in Abu Dis, east of the city. Troops also invaded the town of Anata northeast of Jerusalem, breaking into and searching several homes. Additional military activity was reported near the Tablas Gate area in Hizma, north of the city.
Israeli forces further abducted 12 Palestinians near the Mazmouria and Jaba’ military roadblocks southeast and north of occupied Jerusalem. Eleven of them were workers attempting to reach the city and were taken to an undisclosed location. Another young man was abducted at the Jaba’ roadblock; his identity remains unknown.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, soldiers invaded the town of Beit Awwa and abducted 75‑year‑old Yasser Matawa’ al‑Masalma after breaking into his home.
They also abducted Mohsen Younes al‑Masalmeh from the Tarousa area, which has seen escalating colonialist activity and colonizer attacks. The army continued widespread invasions across southern Hebron throughout the day.
At the entrance to the al‑Fawwar refugee camp south of Hebron, soldiers assaulted and abducted a young man after stopping his vehicle and forcing him out.
Troops later closed the main gate leading to dozens of villages and communities in the Yatta and Masafer Yatta area, cutting off access to communities including az‑Zweidin, Khirbet ad‑Daraj, al‑Majaz, Umm al‑Khair, Umm Qissa, al‑Abadiya, al‑Safi, al‑Markaz, al‑Tibban, al‑Fakhit, and others.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces abducted eight Palestinians on Sunday from the village of Husan, west of the city, after an illegal paramilitary colonizer attacked them while they were working on their agricultural land.
Rami Hamamra, head of the Husan Village Council, said the soldiers abducted the eight men while they were in their farmland in the Abu Sud area, located between Husan and the town of al‑Khader, following an assault carried out by one of the colonizers.
He added that the abducted Palestinians are: brothers Khalil Mohammad Ibrahim Shousha, 67, Marzouq, 56, and Rezeq, 50, along with Rezeq’s son Ayham, 24. The soldiers also abducted Hamed Mahmoud Shousha, Ibrahim Mahmoud Shousha, and Rajai Dawoud Shousha, all of whom are in their forties.
Residents report daily colonizer attacks, military closures, and efforts to isolate communities from one another.
