Israeli occupation forces and illegal paramilitary colonizers carried out extensive assaults, invasions, and abductions across the occupied West Bank on Saturday, in one of the widest escalations seen in recent weeks.
The day unfolded with simultaneous military operations, mass detentions, violent colonizer attacks, and repeated incursions into Palestinian towns and villages, particularly in the Nablus district, following Friday’s deadly assault on the town of Tell that left four Palestinians and two Israelis killed.
The slain Palestinians are Farouq Adnan Ali Ramadan, Ibrahim Hussein Ali Ramadan, Jawad Hussein Ali Ramadan, and Omran Ahmad Ali Ramadan
Israeli media identified the two Israelis killed during the invasion as Master Sergeant (res.) Benayahu Mellet, 32, and Major Yuval Ezra, 27, the battery commander of the 411th Battalion in the 282nd Artillery Brigade. Both were part of the armed colonizer group that stormed the village
Israeli media said a weapon seized from an Israeli in the colony of Susiya, near Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, had been located, while the army claimed Palestinians confronted an off‑duty soldier and took his firearm.
Conflicting Israeli reports suggested the alleged assailant was later detained. The army had earlier acknowledged receiving reports of gunfire in the area and said the incident was under examination.
Israeli military radio reported that Palestinians seized a colonizer’s weapon during confrontations south of Hebron and fled toward Yatta, prompting a large-scale pursuit. Israeli outlets confirmed injuries among Israeli colonizers in the Susiya area, including one moderate injury caused by stone‑throwing.

Israeli public broadcasting warned that the army is preparing for a broader escalation, quoting security officials who said the rapid expansion of illegal outposts and colonizer farms has fueled daily confrontations and could ignite a wider explosion.
In Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank’s central part, occupation forces invaded Kafr Malek, where tear‑gas grenades ignited fires between homes. Thirteen Palestinians were abducted in Abwein, Sinjil, Al‑Mughayyer, and Deir Abu Mash’al.
Colonizers attacked a truck driver between Silwad and Ein Yabrud, smashing his vehicle. Occupation forces also invaded Deir Jarir, firing tear gas at the home of Ahmad Makho, who was killed five days earlier.
Colonizers also attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones between Al‑Mughayyer and Abu Falah, near Ramallah, in addition to several attacks against Palestinians and their property in Turmus’ Ayya and Deir Jarir.

In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, colonizers stormed the town of Tell for the second consecutive day, installing a mobile room and beginning land‑clearing operations.
South of Nablus, members of the Khader family from Al‑Lubban ash‑Sharqiya suffered severe suffocation after paramilitary colonizers attacked them near Aqraba and sprayed them with pepper gas while they were visiting relatives. Most of the injured were children.
The Nablus district saw the most intense escalation, with occupation forces and colonizers launching coordinated assaults on Surra, Tell, and Beit Furik. Tell mayor Walid Zaidan said colonizers returned to the area in six vehicles, installed a mobile room, and began bulldozing land.
Israeli military radio acknowledged the incursion, describing it as an uncoordinated entry by around 20 colonizers.
In Surra, southwest of Nablus, Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas at residents, journalists, and medical crews while providing cover for armed colonizers attempting to storm the town. Several Palestinians, including journalists, suffered suffocation. On Friday, colonizers burned six homes and five vehicles in Surra and assaulted residents.
The head of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), Abdullah Al‑Zaghari, said Israeli forces abducted at least 80 Palestinians since Friday evening, including 50 from Tell alone.
In Beit Furik, a group of colonizers attacked the vehicle of Palestinian municipality workers in the town of Beit Furik, occupied West Bank, causing damage.
The colonizers refused to allow the workers to pass, while one of the workers could be heard telling a colonizer to call the army to the area. The worker told the colonizer that the army allowed them to pass into the area. The colonizers remain and the Palestinians were forced to leave.
Political factions in Nablus called for full mobilization to defend towns and villages from colonizer attacks, urging the activation of local protection committees and heightened readiness across all communities.
In Jerusalem’s northern outskirts, occupation forces stormed Ar‑Ram and Anata, firing tear gas at homes and invading several houses.
Israeli public radio reported that the army deployed 26 battalions across the occupied West Bank under new orders to expand offensive operations.
The Israeli army announced the abduction of more than 70 Palestinians in overnight and early‑morning invasions across the West Bank, while hundreds were subjected to field interrogations. Israeli forces seized a home in Tell and converted it into a field interrogation center while imposing a full siege on the town.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, occupation forces launched a large-scale invasion across the city and surrounding towns, invading homes, interrogating residents, and abducting five Palestinians. Teargas and smoke grenades ignited a fire near the Nisan Park area west of Jenin.
In Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, eight Palestinians were abducted in Dura, Yatta, Ethna, and Beit Ummar. In Birin, colonizers attacked the home of an elderly Palestinian, destroyed its interior walls, and forced him to watch the destruction after detaining him inside.
Furthermore, dozens of Israeli forces deployed around Susiya in Masafer Yatta and conducted extensive searches.
In Tulkarem, in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part, five Palestinians were abducted from the city, Shweika, Deir Al‑Ghusoun, and Illar. Israeli forces occupied two residential buildings in Shweika and converted them into military centers after forcing residents out. Troops also assaulted a 14‑year‑old boy, breaking his nose.
In Qalqilia, in the occupied West Bank’s northwestern part, six Palestinians were abducted in Qalqilia, Kafr Laqif, and Azzun.
In Bethlehem, Israeli soldiers abducted three Palestinians from Bethlehem’s Aida Camp, Al‑Asakra, and Al‑Rashayda.
Israeli colonizers also attacked and hurled stones on Palestinian vehicles on the Nashash Road, causing damage.
In occupied Jerusalem, a Palestinian was abducted from his home in Al‑Eizariya. Residents of Ma’azi Jaba, north of Jerusalem, foiled a colonizer attempt to steal dozens of sheep.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said at least 80 Palestinians were abducted between Friday evening and Saturday morning, describing the campaign as part of Israel’s policy of collective punishment.
The PPS added that thousands of Palestinians have been subjected to field interrogations since the beginning of the year, and total arrests in the West Bank have surpassed 3,600.
