Ereikat said that there is still a major gab between the Palestinian and Israeli negotiator regarding several final statues issues. He added that no progress have been made during the Tuesday round of talks.

The Palestinian team was headed by Ahmad Quri, with the participation of Dr. Ereikat, while the Israeli team was headed by the Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni.

The Palestinian Israeli talks were revived last November during the one day U.S sponsored Annapolis conference.
