Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian home on Tuesday in the city of Hebron in the southern West Bank and issued orders halting construction on three homes in Al-Walaja, northwest of Bethlehem.

Israeli forces, accompanied by heavy military machinery, invaded the Qalqas area in eastern Hebron in the southern West Bank and demolished a two-story home belonging to Saud Al-Atrash.

The house, which covered about 460 square meters, sheltered two families, including children and elderly residents, who were left without shelter after the demolition.

During the demolition, Israeli forces assaulted residents and fired tear gas canisters, causing several people to suffer from suffocation, the sources said.

Separately, Israeli forces invaded Al-Walaja, northwest of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, and issued stop-work orders for three homes owned by Ibrahim Ali Al-A’raj, Ahmad Mohammad Al-A’raj, and Maher Nasrallah Al-Amour, citing the lack of Israeli-issued building permits.
