The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Tuesday that four Palestinians were killed and twenty others injured during the past twenty‑four hours. The ministry stated that the fatalities included two newly documented victims, one person who succumbed to earlier wounds, and another whose body was recovered from beneath the rubble.

Israeli forces continue to violate the “ceasefire” for the 257th consecutive day, carrying out home demolitions, attacks on residential areas, and repeated assaults on civilian zones across the Gaza Strip.

These violations persist despite the “ceasefire” agreement signed in Sharm el‑Sheikh under Arab and U.S. mediation, with near‑daily breaches recorded since its announcement.

Medical sources confirmed several injuries resulting from Israeli drone fire targeting the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

Israeli military vehicles also opened fire east of Deir al‑Balah and in the eastern neighborhoods of the city in central Gaza, causing additional casualties. Journalists in Gaza reported repeated bursts of gunfire from Israeli armored units positioned east of Deir al‑Balah.

In the southern Gaza Strip, one Palestinian was killed and others injured when an Israeli airstrike targeted a motorcycle in Khan Younis.

Another strike hit the coastal al‑Mawasi area in western Khan Younis, killing one person and wounding several others.

Journalistic sources confirmed that an Israeli drone attack struck the al‑Mawasi area again later in the day. Israeli forces also targeted a tent sheltering displaced families near the al‑Attar area west of Khan Younis, behind the Bir Ayyad site, causing further casualties among displaced civilians.

Civil Defense teams in Gaza announced the recovery of the remains of forty Palestinians from the Sheikh Radwan Cemetery in Gaza City after Israeli forces carried out bulldozing and grave‑digging operations during their ground incursions in the area.

In its statement, the Civil Defense said the remains were retrieved from the eastern section of the cemetery with the participation of forensic teams, medical examiners, and representatives from the Ministry of Endowments as part of efforts to identify the victims.

Abdullah al‑Majdalawi, Director of Public Relations and Media for the Civil Defense in Gaza, said teams are facing major challenges in identifying the recovered remains, noting that many consisted of fragmented or decomposed bones belonging to children and elderly victims.

He added that Israeli excavation destroyed grave markers and mixed remains, deepening the suffering of families seeking to determine the fate of their loved ones. “How do names become numbers?” he asked, describing the scale of the humanitarian tragedy.

These developments come as Gaza continues to face a severe burial crisis. Since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza, residents have been forced to create mass graves and temporary burial sites in public squares, streets, and around hospitals—including al‑Shifa, Kamal Adwan, and the Baptist Hospital—due to the blockade and the difficulty of reaching established cemeteries.

The Ministry of Health stated that the total number of Palestinians killed since the “ceasefire” began on October 11, 2025, has risen to 1,027, with 3,280 injured, in addition to 785 bodies recovered from various areas.

Since October 7, 2023, the overall death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 73,039, with 173,388 injured. The ministry emphasized that many victims remain under the rubble or on roads where ambulances and Civil Defense crews cannot reach them.
