Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of invasions across the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, breaking into homes and abducting Palestinians in Ramallah, Bethlehem, occupied Jerusalem, and Qalqilia. The operations included widespread military deployments, home invasions, and the installation of a military roadblock that further restricted movement.

In the central West Bank, soldiers invaded the town of Ni’lin, west of Ramallah, and broke into the home of Ahmad Sorour’s parents before abducting the 18‑year‑old. Local sources reported that the military force stormed the town before dawn and searched the property extensively.

In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted three Palestinians from the Bethlehem district. The soldiers broke into homes in the town of Al‑Khader, south of Bethlehem, and abducted 18‑year‑old Shareef Bassam Al‑Balboul. They also invaded the Beit Fajjar area to the east and abducted two brothers, Amir Adel Ali, 45, and Sufyan, 31, after searching and ransacking their homes.

Separately, soldiers invaded Al‑Khader again, deploying around the town’s main mosque and breaking into additional homes. No further abductions were reported during this second incursion.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces invaded the town of Biddu, northwest of the city, and abducted four residents after breaking into and searching their homes. The Jerusalem Governorate identified them as Sanad Fahmi Badwan, Tamim Zaher Khaddour, Yahya Abdullah Mansour, and Khaled Ayyash.

Later in the morning, the army installed a military roadblock at the western entrance of the Jerusalem-area town of Al‑‘Isawiya, northeast of the city. Soldiers stopped vehicles, inspected identity cards, and obstructed movement for residents attempting to enter or leave the area.

According to the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission, the number of military roadblocks and gates across the West Bank has reached 916, including 243 installed after October 7, 2023.

In the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city of Qalqilia through its eastern entrance, deployed across several neighborhoods, and fired stun grenades while breaking into homes in the Kafr Saba area. Soldiers abducted two brothers, Osama and Samer Salim, along with another young man, Majd Al‑Tawil.

In Jenin, in northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded the town of Fuqua, east of the city, searched homes and abducted a young man, Yasser Abu Khamis.

The invasions and abductions come amid an ongoing escalation of Israeli military activity across the occupied West Bank, marked by intensified home invasions, movement restrictions, and the expansion of fixed and mobile military roadblocks.
