On Monday, the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Health sent 17 truckloads of medicine and supplies to the Gaza Strip. According to the Minister of Health, Fathi Abu Moghli, the goods will enter the Strip on Tuesday at noon, through the Kerem Shalom crossing. The supplies include cancer treatments, antibiotics, laboratory materials, milk for unwell children, and medicine for patients with kidney and heart troubles.
Abu Moghli also said that the sending of goods was based on the needs of Gaza hospitals, and praised the Gaza Health Ministry as a lifeline in the coastal enclave. ‘We do our national and moral duties toward our people in Gaza,’ the minister added, calling for an end to Gaza’s siege and political rivalry.
