A Palestinian worker was seriously injured on Thursday after being attacked and stabbed by an Israeli man in Netanya, in the north of the country. The injured worker was identified as Raslan Daoud, 37, from Beta village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
He was repeatedly stabbed in his chest and back after he exited a supermarket in the city. Israeli medics arrived at the scene and took him to a nearby hospital.
The worker’s brother, Ghaleb, works at a construction site in Netanya and carries an official permit to work in Israel.
Ghaleb added that the assailant swiftly attacked his brother repeatedly stabbing him in the chest and the back before fleeing the scene.
