The Israeli air strikes and bombardment continues against Gaza, one child was killed in Gaza City, three resident injured, including two women. 83 Palestinians killed since Wednesday, more than 700 were injured.Palestinian medical sources reported that one child, identified as Rana ash-Shandi, 18 months, was killed when the Israeli army fired missiles targeting as-Saraya compound and several nearby homes.
Three Palestinians were wounded with the army missiles into neighborhoods in Gaza city.
The soldiers also fired three missiles into the Palestinian playground that was repeatedly bombarded by Israel during this war and during previous assaults and wars on Gaza.
Thirty-Three Palestinians have been killed since Sunday at dawn, including 10 members of the same family. 23 of the slain residents were killed in the past 6 hours.
Furthermore, a 12-month-old child was killed on Sunday evening in the Qalandia refugee camp in Jerusalem.
The child was killed when a gas bomb, fired by the Israeli army, entered the family’s home and hit the child while he slept in his bed.
The bed caught fire and the child was severely burnt; he died of his wounds at a local hospital.

Four, Including Two Children, Killed By Israeli Shells In Gaza

Israeli soldiers fired dozens of shells into the Gaza Strip, on Monday at dawn, including shells that hit a home that belongs to the family of Khaled Azzam, in Az-Zeitoun Neighborhood killing three residents, including two children; at least 35 Palestinians, mostly children, were injured. One resident died due to serious injuries suffered last night
The slain residents were identified as Mohammad Eyad Zour, 4, Nisma Abu Zour, 19, and ‘Ahed Al-Qattaty, 38.
Medics and rescue teams had to pull the bodies of the slain residents from under the rubble of the bombarded home. All wounded residents were moved to hospitals in the area.
The Radio Bethlehem 2000 reported that the residents were leaving their homes after the army fired “warning shells” near the property, and as the residents rushed out trying to leave the building the army bombarded it before they were able to leave the property.
Furthermore, a resident identified as Jalal Nasr, 35, died on Monday at dawn of wounds suffered when the army bombarded his home in Jabalia, in northern Gaza. His child Hussein, 8, was killed in the attack.
15 Palestinians have been injured when the army bombarded the home that belongs to Nidal Al-‘Askary, in Tal Az-Za’tar, north of Gaza. The home was turned into rubble due to Israeli missiles.
One child and a cameraman were also injured when the army bombarded a police station in Gaza.
Nearly twenty Palestinians were also injured when the army bombarded a home in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Initial news indicate that one resident was killed in the shelling.
Dozens of homes were damaged in continued Israeli bombardment targeting Sheikh Zayed area in northern Gaza, Az-Zeitoun neighborhood, and Ash-Shujaeyya neighborhood in Gaza.
Two resistance centers were bombarded west of Gaza City. A police station was also bombarded in Gaza city.
Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, reported that the siege and the large number of casualties is leading to sharp decrease of medical supplies, and added that there are more than 82 types of medicines are totally not available in the Gaza Strip.
The number of casualties is likely to increase due to continued Israeli bombardment, and due to the fact that several wounded residents suffered very serious injuries.
Palestinian resistance groups continued to respond to the Israeli military escalation, and fired on Monday at dawn, four Grad missiles into Asqalan.
Several shells were fired into Gan Yavne, Kiryat Malachi, Beer Tuvia, Gan Yavne,Gedera, Asqalan, Be’er As-Sabe,’ the Eskhol Regional Council, and several area in the south.
Israeli media sources reported that three Israelis were killed Monday due to Palestinian shells while several others were injured.
So far 82 Palestinians have been killed and identified since last Wednesday, and more than 700 have been injured, the casualties include children, infants, women, and elderly.
