[Thursday Morning, April 24, 2014] A number of armored Israeli military vehicles invaded Palestinian farmland east of the al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, uprooted and bulldozed the invaded lands, and opened fire at nearby homes. The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) has reported that five Israeli tanks, and two armored bulldozers, advanced more than 200 meters into the farmlands and bulldozed them.

WAFA added that the vehicles left the nearby Kissufim military base, across the border fence, and fired rounds of live ammunition at homes and structures in the area.

Israeli military helicopters were also seen flying over the area while the army invaded it.

Soldiers frequently invade Palestinian farmlands close to the border fence, and prevent the farmers and workers from entering Palestinian lands, close to the border area in the northern and eastern parts of the coastal region.
