Israeli military and police forces kidnapped 32 Palestinians, including minors, in Jerusalem and West Bank areas, on Monday, according to reports by local and security sources.12 Palestinians were taken in Jerusalem, last night, in the aftermath of clashes which broke out between police and angry demonstrators who took to the streets in protest of Israel’s ongoing massacre being perpetrated on innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip.

In Ramallah, Israeli forces abducted five Palestinian youuth, ages 12, 15, 17, 16 and 17, from the village of Mazra’a Ash-Sharqiya, while they were passing through Nablus-Ramallah highway.

Meanwhile, in the village of Beit Ummar to the north of Hebron, WAFA further reports that the Israeli army arrested three Palestinian brothers aged 25, 30, and 31 after raiding and searching several homes during the predawn hours.

Three local residents from the Hebron City neighborhood of Khallat al-Ein, ages 30, 20 and 21, were also taken, in addition to three people aged 21, 25, and 27 in the town of Qabatiya, to the south of Jenin, following a similar raid.

In the nearby village of Um-Ar-Rihan, Israeli soldiers kidnapped two Palestinian brothers, ages 27 and 25, as they attempted to pass a nearby military checkpoint, according to the village mayor, Bilal Zaid. He said that the two brothers were handcuffed by the soldiers, who opened live fire just above their heads before arresting them.

Furthermore, Israeli soldiers abducted two youngsters, ages 18 and 20, from Aida refugee camp, just north of Bethlehem, as well, after raiding and searching their houses.

Soldiers also raided the village of Bedia, in the Salfit Governorate, during a predawn raid on the village, in which two Palestinians were taken captive.

Occupied East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip each form a part of the internationally recognized Palestinian territory which was illegally seized by Israel in 1967.

Over 800,000 Palestinians, including children, have been imprisoned by Israel since 1967, often without charge or trial, to be held indefinitely, while over 550,000 Israeli colonials continue to populate and expandJewish-only settlements and settler outposts throughout the region.
