Five Palestinians have been kidnapped, on Thursday, after Israeli soldiers invaded ‘Azzoun town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, and searched many homes. The soldiers also kidnapped two Palestinians in the northern West Bank district of Jenin.Local sources in Azzoun said the soldiers surrounded the town, earlier at dawn, and invaded it before breaking into and searching many homes, and kidnapped five Palestinians.

The kidnapped residents have been identified as Abdul-Hafeth Ali ‘Adwan, Yahya Mohammad Abu Haniyya, Said Farouq Abu Haniyya, Ward Radi ‘Adwan and Mustafa Radwan.

Several army vehicles were also deployed around Kafr Qaddoum town, east of Qalqilia, especially the northern part before the soldiers attacked many villagers and forced them out of their lands.

In addition, the soldiers invaded the al-‘Arqa village, west of Jenin, searched homes and kidnapped a young Palestinian, identified as ‘Ekrema Abdullah Yahya, 23.

Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Ya’bad town, southwest of Jenin, also searched homes and kidnapped a young man identified as Mahmoud Khader Hamarsha.

Owners of some of the invaded homes have been identified as Abdul-Karim Shattour Abu Bakr, Taleb Badarna, Nizar Mahmoud ‘Atatra and Amjad ‘Atatra.

The soldiers also detained several Palestinians as they left the local mosque, following dawn prayers, and interrogated them.


In addition, the army searched homes, in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, and kidnapped four Palestinians.

Earlier on Thursday, the soldiers kidnapped four Palestinians from the West Bank district of Bethlehem.
