A group of fanatic illegal Israeli colonists invaded, Tuesday, Palestinian lands in Battir town, west of Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank, and installed a tent.
Hasan Breijiyya, the head of the Bethlehem office of the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission, said the colonists invaded Palestinian lands, northeast of the city, and installed a tent.
He added that the colonists have been trying to occupy the land so that they can install an outpost and eventually control more Palestinian lands.
The Palestinian farmers managed to stop the colonists, and forced them to remove their tent.
Breijiyya stated that the area has been subject to frequent Israeli violations, including the installation or mobile homes, tents, and the bulldozing of Palestinian lands to prepare for roads leading to the illegal outposts.
