King Abdullah II of Jordan is going to visit Israel and Palestine in the coming few days, The Jordanian News Agency said on Monday morning.
King Abdullah will meet with the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and the Israeli Prime Minster Aril Sharon separately, the agency stated.   ÂÂ
According to the agency the visit is an attempt to persuade Israel to withdraw from the West Bank to make use of the momentum created by the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
