Thursday July 2, 2026 marks 1,000 days since the start of Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip. For the past 1000 days (despit a ceasefire declared in October 2025), Gaza has faced continuous destruction, with entire neighborhoods reduced to rubble, thousands of families killed instantly, and others forcibly disappeared or left under the rubble.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian situation has reached unprecedented levels of devastation among Palestinian families.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced today, Thursday, that the death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Strip has risen to 73,074 killed and 173,537 injured, since October 7, 2023.

The sources indicated that the sector’s hospitals received 4 killed during the past 24 hours, including two who were recovered from rubble;., and 12 who were injured.

The total number of Palestinians killed by Israel since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025 rose to 1,059 martyrs, and injuries to 3,429, while 788 bodies were recovered. No Israelis have been killed by Palestinians since the ceasefire.

On Thursday, Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip continued. Palestinians Yousef Abu Khater and Mahmoud Al-Braim, were announced killed in an Israeli drone strike on a tent in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

7 citizens were injured, Thursday evening, after Israeli occupation aircraft targeted a motorcycle in the central Gaza Strip.

A Wafa news correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation targeted a motorcycle in the new camp area in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in 7 citizens being injured, including a serious injury, and they were transferred to the Al-Awda Medical Complex in Nuseirat.
