An illegal Israeli settler, on Monday, ran over and killed three sheep belonging to Palestinian farmers, while injuring a dozen more, in the al-Dirat village, near Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, according to local activists.
At the same time, another group of illegal colonists reportedly set fire to Palestinian crops in the southern West Bank.
Rateb Jabour, from the Anti-Wall, Anti-Settlements Popular Committee in the southern West Bank, told Palestinian WAFA News Agency that an Israeli colonial settler, who was driving a 4-wheel-drive vehicle, sped up when he saw sheep in the fields, running them over, killing three and injuring 12 others, before fleeing the scene.
Recently, illegal colonists have been burning Palestinian-owned farm lands as a means to force Palestinians to leave the area, to make way for illegal settlement expansion.
