Israeli soldiers fired with heavy ammunition at several areas in the Gaza Strip, over the last 24 hours, causing damage and panic among the residents, especially the children.

A Palestinian security source in Gaza reported that F16 Jet fighters fired three missiles at Sheikh Zayed area in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, no injuries were reported.
 
The missiles exploded in Al Wali Al Saleh area, near the Bedouin village causing power failure in the area.
 
Also, Israeli tanks fired at least twelve shells at an area, east of Beit Hanoun, in the northern area of the Gaza strip, no injuries were reported.
 
Several targets were also shelled in Gaza city, a Palestinian security source reported.
 
Also, a military Apache fired at least one missile at an industrial workshop in Al Yarmouk Street, in Gaza city, causing damage to several constructions.  
 
One aged man and a woman were injured, heavy damage was reported, after an Israeli fighter-jet fired a missile at Al Ihsan Charitable society in Gaza city.  
 
The two residents were injured of shell fragmentations, and were hospitalized.
 
On Saturday evening, the Israeli Defense Minister, Shaul Mofaz, said that the army will intensify its operations in the Gaza strip in retaliation to the homemade shells which were fired by the resistance
 
“Our retaliation will not only be in response to the homemade shells”, Mofaz stated, “We will conduct a series of operations in the Gaza Strip”.   
 
The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of Fateh, claimed responsibility for firing homemade shells, on Saturday evening, at Nativ Hash’ara settlement; several shells also exploded in an open area south of Ahskelon city.   
 
The Brigades also fired shells at Kfar Azza settlements, east of the Gaza strip, no injuries were reported.
 
The Brigades reported that the firing of the homemade shells comes in retaliation to killing two residents of Rafah and Khan Younis, by the Israeli army on Saturday.
