Palestinian refugees in Ein Al Hilwa refugee camp in Lebanon expressed their willingness to participate in Palestinian democratic process by conducting symbolic elections.
One hundred refugees of different ages participated in the symbolic process in an attempt to remind the world of their cause, living in exile as refugees after being expelled from their homeland.
Khaled Aref, leader of Fateh movement in Al Hilwa refugee camp said that the process was conducted to remind the world of the refugees and their Right of Return.
There are 3.5 million refugees living in Diaspora, 17% of the refugees are living in Syria and Lebanon, 33% in Jordan in addition to 15% refugees living in other Arab countries.
