On Wednesday morning, Israeli soldiers demolished a Palestinian home in Sur Baher town, southeast of the occupied capital Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Media sources said many army vehicles and bulldozers invaded the town and headed towards the Wadi al-Hummus neighborhood before surrounding a home owned by the Bahaeddin Rabay’a family and forcibly removing them from their property.
They stated the home was fifty square meters, inhabited by four family members.
Before demolishing the property, the soldiers closed and isolated the entire area.
The family has been trying to obtain a permit for their property and recently paid a 20.000 Shekels fine; and were ongoing with the legal paperwork, but the city denied their appeal and ordered the demolition of the property.
