Palestinian medical sources in the West Bank city of Nablus reported that one resident was killed, at least thirty were injured, during clashes that erupted in the city after the Israeli forces invaded it; two residents are in critical conditions.
The resident was identified as Yousef Zakarna, 20. He was injured during clashes that took place after the soldiers surrounded a house where fighters of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the army wing of Fateh, were said to be hiding in.
Four members of the Al Aqsa Brigades were arrested in the invasion and one Israeli soldier was reportedly injured.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that at least thirty residents were injured during the ongoing clashes especially after the soldiers opened automatic fire at residents and houses near the eastern Graveyard area in the city; two of the injured residents are in serious conditions.
Also, damage was reported to several shops close to the graveyard, while several Gravestones were damaged after being hit by rounds of live ammunition fired by the army.
Several residents were injured in the ongoing operation, soldiers are currently conducting military searches of homes using military dogs.
