On Friday, Israeli soldiers injured six Palestinians during the weekly procession in Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PCS) said its medics provided treatment to the six wounded Palestinians and several others who suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The procession started from the center of the town before the residents marched carrying Palestinian flags and chanting against the ongoing and escalating Israeli violations against the Palestinians, their homes, lands, holy sites, and livelihood.
The soldiers attacked the procession with rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades and tried to ambush and abduct some protesters.
The Palestinians have been holding weekly processions in Kufur Qaddoum for the last eighteen years, demanding the army to reopen the village’s main road the soldiers blockaded to allow easy access to the illegal colonizers driving to and from Kedumim illegal colony built on stolen Palestinian lands.
