On Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded Ajja town, south of Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, and abducted a young man.
Montaser Sammour, the head of the Jenin office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), said the soldiers abducted Khaldoun Omar Qassem, 32, after summoning him for interrogation at the nearby Salem military base.
Sammour added that the army has been trying to abduct Qassem for some time and frequently invaded and ransacked his family’s home, looking for him. He had to turn himself in to the military after the soldiers arbitrarily abducted his brothers Mahdi and Ibrahim for several hours to force him to surrender.
The soldiers also invaded the Al-Jalama village northeast of Jenin and drove into several neighborhoods before withdrawing.
Also Wednesday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded Fasayel village, north of Jericho in the northeastern West Bank, and abducted a child and a young man.
