On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured a young man near the northern entrance of Bethlehem City in the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded the area near Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque, leading to protests before the army fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
They added that the soldiers shot a young man from the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, with a live round in the abdomen.
Palestinian medics treated the young man and rushed him to Bethlehem Arab Society For Rehabilitation in nearby Beit Jala City due to the seriousness of his condition.
Also, Israeli forces injured four Palestinian young men, one of whom suffered a serious gunshot wound, in the Al-Aroub refugee camp, north of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, local sources reported.
In related news, Israeli soldiers abducted three Palestinians, including a child, in separate parts of the occupied West Bank, local sources reported.
