Israeli forces shot and injured, on Wednesday, three Palestinians, including a child, in various parts of the West Bank, and abducted two, including a child, local sources reported.
Israeli forces shot and injured, on Wednesday afternoon, a Palestinian young man in Zababdeh town, southeast of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources said that the army invaded the town which sparked local youths to protest the incursion.
Occupation forces opened fire with live ammunition, shooting and injuring a young man in the thigh with a live round.
The young man was transported to hospital, however his condition was unknown at the time of writing this report.
Soldiers invaded neighboring towns and villages including Qabatiya town, and Masliyeh village south of the city, in addition to Ya’bad town to the west, and Arraba town, southeast of the city.
Israeli forces stormed, on Wednesday afternoon, the Al-Fara’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, and abducted a child.
The incursion triggered protests among local Palestinian youths, which soldiers responded to by chasing a group of young men who resisted the incursion.
According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Tubas office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society, the Israeli army abducted a child, Osama Fayez al-Ghoul.
Reports indicate that a Palestinian child sustained a fracture of his leg, when he fell while he was running away from the soldiers.
He was transported to hospital for medical intervention.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday evening, the occupation army stormed Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, in the central West Bank.
According to Kazem al-Hajj Muhammad, a local activist, Palestinian youths protested the invasion, which soldiers responded to by firing rubber-coated steel rounds and tear gas canisters at those who resisted the incursion.
Sources said that the army shot and injured two Palestinians, including a 13-year-old child with rubber-coated steel rounds, while dozens more sustained inhalation injuries from tear gas exposure.
Furthermore, Israeli troops invaded, on Wednesday evening, Yatta town, south of Hebron, in the southern occupied west Bank, and abducted one young man.
Soldiers broke into the family home of Muhammad Iyad Abu Zahra, 18, in the “Fattouh” area, before abducting him.
