Israeli forces attacked, on Friday, the peaceful anti-settlement protest, and injured several Palestinians in the village of Beit Dajan, southeast of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, according to medical sources.
Palestinians gathered for the weekly march in Beit Dajan village, southeast of Nablus city, to express their rejection of the Israeli occupation’s continued illegal colonial schemes in the West Bank.
Israeli soldiers attacked the non-violent demonstrators by firing rubber-coated steel rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades at the unarmed civilians.
According to medical sources at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus, several Palestinians sustained inhalation injuries from exposure to tear gas.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee urged all citizens to join the march in order to protect Palestinian-owned lands from expropriation by illegal settlers and the occupation authorities.
