Israeli occupation forces attacked, on Wednesday evening, Palestinian demonstrators at several sites along the eastern border of the besieged Gaza Strip, shooting four young men, and injuring dozens of others.
On Wednesday evening, dozens of Palestinian youths gathered along the perimeter fence east of Gaza City and Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, and east of Khan Younis, in the southern region.
Occupation forces fired live rounds and tear gas canisters at Palestinians who gathered along the perimeter fence to express their rejection of the Israeli siege on Gaza, the attacks on Al-Aqsa, and the injustice against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
At least four Palestinian young men were shot with live rounds, while dozens more suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
Sources added that soldiers deliberately fired tear gas canisters at Palestinian medics and journalists, in an attempt to prevent them from fulfilling their duties.
On Tuesday evening, Israeli forces shot a Palestinian youth in the head with a live round, killing him, in addition to shooting eleven others with live ammunition, and causing dozens more to sustain inhalation injuries from tear gas exposure.
