Israeli soldiers injured, on Saturday evening, dozens of Palestinians who confronted illegal Israeli colonizers, and abducted two young men from Karma village, southwest of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.

Israeli soldiers stormed, on Saturday evening, Karma village, south of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, abducted two Palestinians, and injured dozens of others, according to local sources.

A number of armed illegal Israeli colonizers from the nearby “Otniel” colony, were setting up tents on Palestinian-owned lands, when local Palestinian citizens confronted them.

According to Raafat Abu Sheikha, head of the Karma Village Council, said a large number of occupation forces invaded the village, and fired many tear gas canisters at Palestinians who resisted the incursion.

He added that dozens of local Palestinian citizens sustained inhalation injuries as a result of tear gas exposure, and at least 50 olive trees caught fire due to the barrage of tear gas canisters.

Media sources added that Israeli forces abducted the lawyer, Hisham Mahmoud Abu Sheikha and Hazem Nasser Abu Sheikha.


Earlier Saturday, illegal Israeli settlers blocked Palestinian shepherds from accessing their own land, in the Khirbet Makhul area of the northern Jordan Valley.

According to human rights activist, Aref Daraghma, illegal colonizers prevented Palestinian shepherds, for the third consecutive day, from grazing their livestock in pastures in the northeastern part of the West Bank.

In related news, illegal Israeli settlers attacked, on Saturday, Palestinian shepherds in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank.
