On Friday dawn, the Israeli army continued its targeting of civilian areas, killing 21 Palestinians and wounding 79. Medical sources have confirmed that most of the casualties are women and children.
Palestinian medics, volunteers, and residents rushed to search under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings and evacuated the casualties to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
Medical sources at Nasser Hospital said eight of the slain Palestinians are members of the same family.
Furthermore, the Israeli army fired missiles at homes in the Zeitoun and the Sheja’eyya neighborhoods in Gaza, destroying many homes and causing dozens of casualties.
The Health Ministry in Gaza said at least 3785 Palestinians have been killed and more than 12000 have been injured since the Israeli offensive on Gaza began on November 7th.
However, the extensive Israeli bombings of homes, residential buildings, facilities, media centers, and various other types of buildings have turned them into rubble, and it is believed the number of casualties is much higher than what has been confirmed or reported.
