Israeli forces wired and detonated, on Friday, two apartments belonging to two Palestinian detainees in Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.
At dawn Friday, Israeli forces detonated the family home of two Palestinian detainees in the Khallet Manna area in the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
A large army force stormed the area, and closed off the area before forcibly removing the inhabitants of two apartments in two separate buildings.
After wiring the apartments for detonation, explosive charges were used to destroy the two homes, leaving their inhabitants homeless.
Detainees, Muhammad and Saqr Al-Shanter, were abducted in August, after allegedly shooting and killing an illegal Israeli settler and injuring another on August 21, 2023, south of Hebron.
Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states;
1. No protected person may be punished for an offense he or she has not personally committed. Collective penalties and likewise all measures of intimidation or of terrorism are prohibited.
2. Reprisals against protected persons and their property are prohibited.
