The Israeli army shot and killed, on Tuesday, a Palestinian young man at the Ein Siniya military roadblock north of Ramallah in the central West Bank, abducted a father and son, and shot another young man in nearby villages.

On Tuesday afternoon, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian young man near the Ein Siniya military roadblock north of Ramallah, after what the army claimed was an alleged stabbing attempt.

Soldiers opened fire with live ammunition towards the young man after an alleged stabbing attempt, although no injuries were reported among soldiers.

Israeli media said that the alleged attack occurred during a routine inspection at the military roadblock, and confirmed that no soldiers were injured during the so-called “stabbing attack”.

Soldiers confiscated the body of the slain young man who was identified as Amid Ibrahim Samih Jayousi, 31, from the ambulance.



In related news, Israeli forces invaded the city of Ramallah before dawn on Tuesday, shot and injured a Palestinian young man and abducted a father and son from the city.

Media sources said that the army shot a young man in the back with live rounds and abducted Majed Hassan and his son Muhammad were arrested from the Ain Misbah neighborhood.


Before dawn on Tuesday, the army stormed the village of Dura al-Qari’, north of the city of Ramallah and stationed soldiers in the center of the village.

Soldiers also invaded the village of Attara, north of the city and besieged the home of the detainee, Mourid Al-Atari, whom they abducted on Monday.
