Israeli forces invaded Balata refugee camp, in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and took one Palestinian man prisoner on Monday morning. Ibraheem Abed, 19, was taken to an Israeli military detention center after troops attacked, searched and ransacked his house and some other houses in the camp, eyewitnesses reported.
Also on Monday morning, Israeli forces abducted a Palestinian resident of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, after attacking his home. Wisam AL Qudsi, 26, was abducted from his home after troops surrounded his house and searched it.
The soldiers then took him to an army detention camp, his family reported. Al Qudsi is the 26th Hebron resident to be abducted by the Israeli army since December 1st, according to the Hebron Prisoner Support Society.
Moreover on Monday morning Israeli forces attacked a barber shop and assaulted three men inside the shop. The attack occurred during an Israeli military invasion of Yatta village, south of Hebron city.
The three brothers of the Abu Samra family, were beaten up badly when the soldiers attacked their barber shop and their next-door family home, eyewitnesses reported. Soldiers searched and ransacked the shop and caused damage to equipment and infrastructure, according to family members of the three men.
Finally, Israeli armored bulldozers began the destruction of a Palestinian vineyard on Monday morning, located south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Salah Shahin, the owner of the land, said that the bulldozers have so far destroyed 85 grapevines – used to produce grapes that are sold in local markets. Shahin added that the army often attacks his land in order to force him to leave, so that his land could then be annexed to the nearby illegal Israeli settlement known as 'Kfar Atzion'.
