On Sunday, Day 184 of the ongoing genocide in the devastated Gaza Strip, the Israeli army continued the firing of missiles and shells at various parts of the coastal enclave, especially Gaza City and Khan Younis, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians.

Medical sources said the army fired shells at a home in the Sheja’eyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, killing at least four Palestinians, and wounding more than ten, including three children and two women.

The army also fired missiles and artillery shells at several homes in the Zanna area and Bani Soheila, east of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, killing at least two Palestinians and wounding seven.

In Gaza City, the army injured at least six Palestinians in their homes in Tal Al-Hawa and the Zeitoun neighborhood in the city.

Israeli tanks also fired many missiles and shells at homes and buildings in the western areas of Gaza City, causing many casualties.

In central Gaza, the army fired missiles at homes in the Al-Boreij refugee camp, resulting in many casualties.

Casualties were also reported when the army fired missiles at the Sheikh Zayed towers in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

The Health Ministry said the Israeli army committed four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, killing 38 and wounding 71, mostly children and women, in the last 24 hours.

The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said the World Health Organization has documented more than 600 Israeli attacks against medical facilities in occupied Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip, leading to shutting down 26 of Gaza’s 36 hospitals.

It added that the remaining hospitals in Gaza are partially functional (4 in northern Gaza and six in the central and southern parts) due to the lack of medical supplies, water, and food, in addition to being repeatedly targeted by the army.

Hospitals in the Gaza Strip working more than %359 times their usual capacities an issue that renders them unable to cope with the huge numbers of casualties, and the lack of basic medical supplies, food, and water.

There have been 286 attacks on hospitals and medical centers in the occupied West Bank, including preventing ambulances, carrying patients or wounded Palestinians, from reaching them.

The Israeli army also killed 489 medical personnel, including doctors and medics, injured more than 600, destroyed 126 ambulances, and abducted more than 310 medics, nurses and doctors, in the Gaza Strip.

There are more than 350.000 Palestinians with chronic conditions and have been without the needed medications and procedures, among them 71.000 diabetes patients, 255.000 with high blood pressure, and 45.000 with heart conditions, in addition to those with cancer, kidney dialysis patients, and other medical conditions.

Besides the direct targeting of hospitals and the invasion of medical centers, the Israeli siege resulted in depleting basic medical supplies, while the only cancer treatment hospital in the Gaza Strip had to shut down due to ongoing bombing and after running out of medical supplies.

In related news, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said, that after the Israeli army withdrew from the Al-Amal Hospital it runs in Khan Younis, the medics found the body of one of its workers Mohammad Maher Aabed, who was killed by Israeli army fire in the medical facility before the soldiers prevented PRCS medics from reaching him, and refused any form of coordination to even look for him.

As the Israeli army continues to bomb all parts of the destroyed and starved Gaza Strip by land, air, and sea, Israeli missiles and shells killed more than 33.175, mostly children (about 13.000 children) and women, and injured at least 75.886, in addition to the thousands of Palestinians who remain missing, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings, since October 7, 2023.
