On Thursday, Day 109 of the ongoing Israeli genocide of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Israel’s missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured hundreds, including women and children, in several parts of the destroyed, bridges and devastated coastal enclave.
The Israeli army intensified its bombing of the northern, central, and southern Gaza Strip, and increased the firing of artillery shells at homes, east of Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost area, leading to dozens of casualties.
Five Palestinians, including one child, were killed and many were injured when the army fired a missile at many residents in the Al-Boreij refugee camp, in central Gaza, before the medics rushed them to the Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah.
Many casualties were also reported in Israeli bombings of several areas in the central district and the Al-Boreij refugee camp.
Also in central Gaza, casualties were reported after the army bombarded Bloc 4 of the Al-Boreij refugee camp.
Furthermore, the Israeli army wired and detonated buildings in the al-Azhar University in central Gaza, destroying all higher education institutions in Gaza.
In Gaza City, the army fired a missile at Palestinians in Nafaq Street, killing at least three and wounding many, before they were moved to the Baptist Hospital.
The Israeli army also fired a missile at a home in the same neighborhood, wounding at least six Palestinians.
Furthermore, at least one Palestinian, Ahmad Yassin, a driver of a humanitarian aid truck, was killed and many Palestinians were injured after Israeli soldiers opened fire at them near the Kuwait Junction in Gaza City.
In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost part, the army killed at least two Palestinians, and wounded many others, after firing a missile at them and many residents in the Salam neighborhood, in the eastern part of the city.
At least two Palestinians were injured in another home, filled with displaced Palestinians, in the western part of Rafah city.
It is worth mentioning that a Palestinian Doctor, Adnan Al-Barsh, who was one of the dozens of Palestinians the Israeli soldiers abducted from the Al-Awda Hospital in Jabalia in northern Gaza, was killed after being continuously tortured in an Israeli detention facility.
Al-Barsh was the head of the Orthopedic Department at the Shifa Hospital in Gaza and was kidnapped, along with dozens of displaced Palestinians, three months ago while in Al-Awda Hospital after the army invaded it.
Dr. Al-Barsh died in December of last year, 2023, due to extreme and continuous torture at the Ofer Israeli prison, and Israel has since been refusing to release his corpse. Five months ago, the soldiers shot the doctor while working in the Indonesian hospital in northern Gaza, five months among.
Also among the hospitalized Palestinians is Mohammad Majed Al-Turk, who was released Thursday after two months of detention and severe torture.
