On Monday, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded Palestinian lands in the Al-Minya village, southeast of the West Bank city of Bethlehem, attacked farmers and shepherds, and stole dozens of bales of wheat and barley.
Media sources said the colonizers assaulted farmers and shepherds before stealing the wheat and barley, especially on farmlands owned by Jamil Shalalda, Awni Shalalda, Sami Shalalda, Issa Shalalda, Sharif Al-Froukh and Nidal Kawazba.
The sources added that the farmers intercepted the assailing colonizers, leading to protests, before Israeli soldiers invaded the area and started firing gas bombs and concussion grenades at the Palestinians.
On Sunday, illegal Israeli colonizers burned a Palestinian-owned home in the village of Douma, southeast of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, and invaded the Mleihat Arab community, northwest of Jericho, in the northern Jordan Valley.
It is worth mentioning that the colonizers have escalated their serious violations across the occupied West Bank, attacking and bulldozing lands, wounding dozens of residents and shepherds, in addition to preventing the Palestinians from reaching their lands.
The Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission stated that Israeli colonizers carried out 1242 assaults and violations against the Palestinians in April.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
