Israeli soldiers detained and interrogated, overnight until dawn hours Tuesday, at least twenty Palestinians after the army stormed homes and shops, in Sinjil town, north of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank’s central part. The army also abducted a Palestinian in Tubas.

Media sources said several armored military jeeps invaded the town before the soldiers closed streets and intersections.

They added that soldiers stormed and ransacked dozens of homes and shops across the town, causing damage, and attacked several residents.

During the violent searches of homes, the soldiers detained at least twenty Palestinians, interrogated them for several hours, and assaulted a few of them, before releasing them.

In Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, the soldiers abducted a young man, Morad Mohammad Abu Motawe’, after they invaded and ransacked his family’s home in the city.

In related news, the soldiers closed the “Container” military roadblock, northeast of Bethlehem, and prevented the Palestinians from crossing. The roadblock’s closure cuts off the southern parts of the West Bank, from the central and northern parts.

Earlier Tuesday, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, shot a young man and abducted another.
