An Israeli army force invaded the northern West Bank city Tulkarem and the nearby refugee camp of Nur Shamis on Wednesday night.
Soldiers attacked and searched scores of residents homes, troops surrounded the house of Kalid Abu Sarri, said to be and Islamic Jihad activist, located in Nur Shamis refugee camp, witnesses stated the soldiers attacked and ransacked Abu Sarri home and abused his family, damage was reported to the searched homes local sources stated.

A group of local youth hurled stones at the invading troops in several locations in the city and refugee camp, Israeli soldiers responded by firing live rounds and sound bombs at them, no injuries were reported.

The army left the area shortly after midnight without abducting Abu Sarri or anyone else, media sources reported.
