Hospital sources in the West Bank city of Qalqilia announced death of a Palestinian elderly woman, due to wounds she sustained in a car accident on Friday.
Salam Hajjar, 62-year-old, was heading for eye surgery on Friday, when she was crushed by an Israeli settler’s car.
Victim Hajjar was considered ‘a victim of the Israeli practices against the Palestinian people’, as hundreds of local residents took part in her funeral procession.
Israeli settlers, who are widely present in the West Bank within illegal settlements, travel on Palestinian roads and some bypass roads, erected by the Israeli occupation authorities on Palestinian-owned lands.
