Israeli soldiers injured a young man Tuesday evening after they invaded the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

Media sources said several army vehicles invaded the town and closed streets, leading to protests, before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.

The mayor of Sebastia, Mohammad Azem, stated that a young man was injured by fragments of a concussion grenade fired by the soldiers.

Azem added that the explosion of the concussion grenade caused severe wounds to his arm and massive bleeding before the soldiers took him to a hospital in Nablus.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers frequently invade Sebastia to accompany groups of colonialist settlers into the archaeological area, which the military wants to impose its full control on to prevent the Palestinians from entering it.

In related news, the soldiers invaded Al-Ezariya town, southeast of Jerusalem, and closed several streets.

The soldiers also invaded Anabta town, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, leading to protests, before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
