On Wednesday, Israeli occupation authorities closed the Ibrahimi Mosque, in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, for the next four days.

Moataz Abu Sneineh, the director of the mosque, told the WAFA News Agency that Israeli authorities closed the Ibrahimi Mosque to Palestinian Muslims, for four days, in order to allow the illegal colonizers to celebrate their holidays.

Abu Sneineh added that the Israeli army has turned the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque and all the neighborhoods of the Old City into military barracks, deploying soldiers throughout the city.

Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Ahmad Al-Tamimi, called the occupation’s decision as a blatant violation of freedom of worship and the sanctity of the Ibrahimi Mosque.

In related news, dozens of illegal Israeli colonizers organized a provocative march on Al-Shuhada Street in the center of the city, under the protection of occupation forces.

According to Imad Abu Shamsiya, a local activist, the army heightened its restrictions against Palestinians in the Tel Rumeida area in the city center, closing all military roadblocks leading to the area.

In occupied Jerusalem, dozens of Israeli colonizers invaded, on Tuesday morning, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of occupation police, and performed Talmudic rituals.

Later in the evening, a group of illegal colonizers performed Talmudic rituals at Bab Al-Qattanin, one of the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
