On Saturday dawn, fanatic illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers cut down dozens of olive trees in the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

Raja Owais, the secretary of the Fateh movement in Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, stated that the colonizers invaded Palestinian orchards near the main road between Nablus and Ramallah.

Owais added that the colonizers cut at least 50 olive trees in orchards belonging to two local farmers, Sidqi Al-Aghbar and Nabil Owais.

The Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission reported that Israeli forces and settlers carried out 1,490 attacks in October alone, continuing the ongoing terror campaign against the Palestinian people, their lands, and properties.

The Commission added that most of these attacks were concentrated in the Nablus governorate with 307 incidents, Hebron with 280, and Jerusalem with 179.

Earlier Saturday, fanatic illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, accompanied by soldiers, attacked homes in Beit Furik town, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

In related news, Israeli soldiers invaded many homes in the towns of Beita and Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, and conducted violent searches.

Local sources reported that the forces invaded neighborhoods in Beita, searched several homes, and caused damage to their contents.

The same sources mentioned that the forces carried out raids and vandalism in several homes in Beit Dajan, particularly in the home of Nazem Abdul Aziz Abu Jaish.

Earlier, Israeli forces had also raided Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus, with a heavy military deployment in the area.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
