Israeli colonizers carried out a series of attacks across the occupied West Bank, burning homes and a mosque, damaging civilian property, assaulting residents, and stealing livestock, in incidents documented across the southern, central, and northern regions of the territory.
Update: Late Sunday night, a group of colonizers invaded Deir Jarir village, east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and fired many live rounds, seriously wounding a young man.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews treated a critically injured man who sustained a severe abdominal wound in the town.
It added that the injured man was being transported to the hospital by a Silwad ambulance crew for treatment.
In a later development, the sources reported that Israeli forces opened fire at the ambulance transporting the injured man.
In the southern West Bank, colonizers invaded the village of at‑Tuwani in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, late Saturday night and set fire to two homes and the village mosque.
Village council head Mohammad Rabea’ said colonizers from the illegal colonial outpost of Havat Ma’on broke into the area and used accelerants to ignite the homes of Kamel Mousa Rabea’ and Mahmoud Salman Rabea’, along with the at‑Tuwani Mosque.
The fires caused extensive structural damage while Israeli forces provided protection and cover for the attackers. Rabea’ added that colonizers also smashed and vandalized additional civilian property, including a vehicle.
The Ministry of Waqf and Religious Affairs condemned the burning of the mosque, describing it as a dangerous escalation and a deliberate attack on a house of worship.
The ministry said the arson constituted “a fully-fledged act of terrorism” carried out with political backing from Israel’s far‑right government, which it said seeks to forcibly displace Palestinian communities in Masafer Yatta and inflame the conflict along religious lines.
The ministry held the Israeli government fully responsible and called on the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and international human rights institutions to intervene and provide urgent protection for Palestinian civilians and their religious sites.
Later Saturday, colonizers attacked homes in Yatta and as‑Samu’, also in the southern West Bank, and stole three livestock animals.
Anti‑colonization activist Osama Makhamra said armed colonizers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, broke into the homes of Salah Ibrahim Shanaran and Abdul‑Rahman Shanaran in Wadi ar‑Rakhim south of Yatta and seized three sheep from their barn.
Israeli soldiers fired live rounds during the attack, though no injuries were reported. A child, Yassin Mohammad Shanaran, suffered severe shock and convulsions from fear and was transported for medical treatment.
In as‑Samu’, colonizers attempted to steal additional livestock in Wadi Jheish but were confronted and pushed back by residents.
Furthermore, colonizers grazed their livestock among Palestinian homes and near barns in the al‑Mahtoush–al‑Ar’ara area east of occupied Jerusalem. Residents said the actions were part of sustained efforts to restrict Palestinian shepherds’ access to grazing areas and obstruct their ability to move their flocks, directly harming their livelihoods.
They noted that these practices form part of a broader strategy aimed at pressuring families to leave their land amid continued colonizer attacks and attempts to impose new realities on the area.
In the northern West Bank, four Palestinians were injured at dawn Sunday when colonizers invaded the thither area on the outskirts of Beita, south of Nablus, and assaulted residents while damaging homes and property. Local sources said colonizers attacked the neighborhood twice, causing injuries described as bruises.
Also on Sunday, colonizers invaded the villages of Deir Ibzi’ and Ein Arik west of Ramallah in the central West Bank, again under the protection of Israeli forces.
The colonizers stole several livestock animals in Deir Ibzi’, while Israeli forces sent reinforcements into the area, invaded the village, and fired live ammunition at residents.
The attacks occurred amid a broader escalation of colonizer violence targeting Palestinian communities across the region.
The Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission has reported Israeli forces and colonizers carried out 11,074 attacks during the first half of 2026, marking a sharp rise in both frequency and severity.
Colonizer attacks alone totaled 3,488 incidents, including assaults on villages, attacks on civilians, arson targeting homes, live‑fire shootings, land seizures, and the establishment of new colony outposts. These attacks also resulted in the killing of 17 Palestinians in addition to dozens of injuries.
The highest number of colonizer attacks was recorded in Nablus in the northern West Bank with 900 incidents, followed by Hebron in the southern West Bank with 840, and Ramallah and al‑Bireh in the central West Bank with 780.

Many incidents remain unreported or inaccessible due to ongoing military restrictions, the presence of armed colonizers, and the continuous escalation of attacks, making comprehensive monitoring and documentation increasingly difficult.
