On Saturday evening, illegal Israeli colonizers assaulted and injured two Palestinian citizens in their homes in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, while Israeli soldiers abducted one Palestinian from the family.

Osama Makhamra, a nonviolent activist against the illegal Israeli colonialist activities in Hebron, stated that the colonizers came from the illegal “Havat Ma’on” colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands.

Makhamra added that the colonizers attacked the house of nonviolent activist Hafeth Al-Hreini in the Tiwani village in Masafer Yatta and assaulted his family, injuring two of them.

He also said that Israeli soldiers abducted Hafeth instead of removing the assailing colonizers who attacked his home.

Additionally, the Israeli soldiers invaded the house of Mohammad Tayeh Makhamra in the village of Ma’in, located south of the town of Karmel, east of Yatta, and ransacked it, causing damage.

In related news, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers stormed the Islamic cemetery and the streets and alleys of Hebron’s Old City.

On Saturday evening, several Palestinians suffered from the effects of teargas inhalation after Israeli soldiers fired sound bombs and gas bombs at them in Hebron.

On Saturday dawn, fanatic illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers cut down dozens of olive trees in the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

Also, Earlier Saturday, the paramilitary Israeli colonizers, accompanied by soldiers, attacked homes in Beit Furik town, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
