On Sunday, the Israeli military carried out a drone strike near Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, killing two Palestinians, including a child. Another drone strike targeted a school yard, killing one citizen and wounding others in the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City in the north.
Israeli drone strikes targeted a group of Palestinians killing two, including a child, near “Dream Hall”, west of Khan Younis in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Medical sources at the Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital reported the recovery of one body and several other citizens were injured.
The Ma’an News Agency reported that the slain young man was identified as Akram Muhammad Madi, 31; the identity of the slain girl was not known at the time of this report.
Meanwhile, occupation drones fired missiles at the courtyard of the Ibn Sina School in the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, killing one citizen and injuring several others.
The WAFA News Agency reported that a number of Palestinians sustained injuries as a result of a drone strike, while the Ma’an News reported that one citizen was killed and five others were wounded. It added that the school yard is sheltering displaced citizens.
The Palestinian Health Ministry released the daily statistical report on Sunday morning, revealing that Israeli forces have killed 1,021 Palestinians in Gaza, and wounded 3,249 others since the so-called “ceasefire” between Israel and the resistance factions in Gaza, which came into effect on October 11, 2025.
Since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, Israel has killed 73,032 Palestinians and wounded 173,357 others.
