At least three Israeli strikes hit a busy street in Gaza City in broad daylight on Monday, killing a Palestinian schoolgirl on her way to final exams, in the latest Israeli violation of the US-backed ceasefire.
Raghad Ashour, a high-school student who was her family’s only child and whose father had previously been killed by Israeli forces, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in the al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City after returning from taking her final secondary school examination.

Israeli occupation aircraft targeted a civilian vehicle in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of paramedic Maisara Al Khawaja and the injury of three others.
Local sources reported, citing medical sources, that paramedic Maysara Al-Khawaja was killed when the occupation forces targeted a civilian vehicle in the outskirts of Khan Yunis.
The girl, Raghad Ashour, was martyred, and a number of citizens were injured, about two hours ago, as a result of the occupation’s bombing of a vehicle in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
Since early Monday morning, three Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip as a result of Israeli attacks in Gaza and Khan Younis, in addition to several injuries.
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced Monday, that the death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Strip has risen to 73,035 killed and 173,368 injured, since October 7, 2023.
The same sources added that the sector’s hospitals received 3 killed and 11 injured Palestinians on Monday.
The number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11 rose to 1,024 killed, and injuries to 3,260, while 784 bodies were recovered.
Medical sources explained that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, with ambulance and rescue crews unable to reach them until this moment.
