At dawn Tuesday, a young man was killed, and three others were injured, by Israeli occupation forces in Qalqilia, in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, at dawn on Tuesday, the killing of Khaled Saleh Qaraan (25 years old), and the injury of three others, by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets, during their raid into the city of Qalqilia.

Israeli occupation forces stormed Qalqilia and took up positions in the Kafr Saba neighborhood of the city, sparking clashes that left Qaraan shot in the stomach and three others with varying injuries.

The troops also detained dozens of Palestinian civilians, abducting some and taking them to unknown destinations.

The attack came as Israeli forces launched a massive attack on the Gaza Strip, signaling an end to the fragile ceasefire that began at the end of January after 16 straight months of daily bombardment that killed 50,000 Palestinians and decimated the entire infrastructure of the Gaza Strip.
