Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday the death of 11 citizens due to starvation and malnutrition, recorded by hospitals in the Gaza Strip, during the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, the Israeli military killed at least 40 Palestinian civilians, including dropping bombs on displaced families living in tents, as well as shooting and killing 21 starving civilians seeking aid at the US corporate-run ‘aid’ sites.

Medical sources reported that the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition has risen to 212 starved to death, including 98 children.

It is noteworthy that the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip continues to worsen, due to the blockade and shortages of food and medical supplies, as the severe famine overlaps with the genocidal war waged by Israel since October 7, 2023.

Since March 2, 2025, the Israeli occupation authorities have closed all crossings with the Gaza Strip, preventing the entry of most food and medical aid, causing a famine outbreak within the Strip.

Medical sources announced on Saturday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,639, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

The number of starving Palestinians killed while trying to obtain food at US-run ‘aid’ sites over the past 24 hours is 21, with 341 injured, bringing the total number of livelihood victims to 1,743, and the number of injuries to 12,590.

Recently, doctors in Gaza revealed a surge in the number of people diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, which causes the peripheral nerves to become flaccid, starting from the lower extremities and progressing upwards to life-threatening areas. Before the war, only one to two cases were reported annually.

During this period of Israel’s genocide, about 95 cases have been reported, largely due to severe malnutrition imposed by Israel.

In a joint statement on Saturday, the foreign ministers of Australia, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom strongly condemned Israel’s decision to occupy the Gaza City, warning that the move would exacerbate the already dire humanitarian crisis, endanger the lives of hostages, and increase the risk of mass civilian displacement. The statement emphasized that any attempts at annexation or settlement expansion would constitute a violation of international law.

The ministers called for the immediate release of all captives by Hamas and urged Israel to take concrete steps to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to those in need.
