On Sunday, Israeli forces shot five Palestinians and injured others after invading the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank. In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, a group of illegal colonizers assaulted a citizen and his wife, and abducted three others.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the Al-Fawwar refugee camp on Sunday evening, an opened heavy fire towards citizens with live rounds, tear gas canisters, and concussion grenades.


The sources added that soldiers shot five Palestinians with live ammunition and caused several others to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

The gunshot victims were transported to the Yatta Governmental Hospital, while those with inhalation injuries were treated at the scene by local medics.

Quds Press reported that Israeli forces shot a female in the neck with live rounds adding that her injuries were deemed to be serious.


In related news, the army invaded the northern and southern areas of Hebron city on Sunday evening, no protests or arrests were reported.

Meanwhile, a group of illegal Israeli colonizers attacked a Palestinian man and his wife, on Sunday evening, in the village of Khallet al-Daba’ in Masafer Yatta.

Osama Makhamreh, a local media activist, told the WAFA News Agency that after invading the village, the colonizers stormed several citizens’ homes and assaulted their owners, resulting in the injury of a Palestinian man and his wife.

He added that the citizen Saud Al-Dabbasah and his wife sustained bruises from the assault and were treated at the scene by Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance crews.

Makhamreh reported that the colonizers detained many Palestinians and abducted three citizens identified as Mohammad Badawi Al-Dabbasah, Abbas Adnan Al-Dabbasah, and Suleiman Ali Al-Dabbasah, taking them to an unknown location.

Also on Sunday, the Israeli army suppressed a peaceful demonstration calling for the occupation to release the bodies of 726 Palestinians which it continues to withhold from their families.

Media sources said that occupation forces stormed the city of Hebron, on Sunday afternoon, and attacked a gathering of citizens calling for the release of the 726 bodies that the army continues to withhold.

The sources added that Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters at citizens holding a nonviolent protest, causing many of them to sustain inhalation injuries.

Participants demanded the release of the bodies which include the bodies of 67 children, 85 prisoners, and 10 women, and appealed to the United Nations and other human rights organizations to intervene.
