Israeli occupation forces shot and wounded a Palestinian youth, earlier on Friday, near a section of the illegal Annexation Wall surrounding the town of Beit Ula, west of Hebron in the occupied West Bank’s southern part and abducted four other residents from across the governorate.

Media sources said the soldiers shot Shaher Ahmad Abdel-Fattah al-Sarahin in the leg near the wall and detained him for several hours before handing him over to Palestinian Red Crescent Society medics at the Meitar military roadblock near the town of ath-Thaheriyya, south of Hebron.

He was transferred to a hospital in Hebron for treatment, and his condition was described as moderate.

In a separate incident, Israeli forces invaded the town of Dura, south of Hebron, and abducted Sufian Jadallah after severely beating him and members of his family while ransacking their home.

The soldiers also abducted another young man, Jamil Ramadan al-Ajlouni, from his home in the city of Hebron.

In addition, media activist Mohammad Awad stated that Israeli forces also stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and abducted 23-year-old Yousef Ezzeddin Ali Abu Maria and 16-year-old Malik Jamal Mahmoud Abu Maria, following violent searches of their homes and several others in the area, causing property damage.

Israeli forces also erected multiple military roadblocks at the entrances to Hebron’s towns, villages, and refugee camps, sealing off several main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.

In related news, the soldiers shot a young man with a live round in the leg near Qalandia terminal, north of occupied Jerusalem, before Palestinian medics took him to a hospital.

In the early hours of Friday, Israeli occupation forces invaded the village of Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah in the central part of the occupied West Bank and abducted the mother and brother of slain Palestinian Mohammad Shtayyeh.

On Thursday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health had announced Thursday evening that Mohammad Ali Youssef Shtayyeh, 37, was fatally shot by Israeli forces near the village of Beit Ur al-Fauqa, also west of Ramallah. His body remains in Israeli custody.
